Part of something bigger

Transforming agriculture requires a community.

CROPSAFE is just one part of a larger ecosystem. Alongside fellow like-minded projects and organisations, we share a community mission: replacing harmful inputs with sustainable, bio-based alternatives that work for farmers, nature and the future.

Our external advisory board

Essential oversight and support

Getting the science right is only part of the challenge. Our advisory board brings together independent voices from farming, policy, research and industry to make sure CROPSAFE’s work stays grounded in the real world – and that our findings reach the people who can act on them.

Our partner projects

Approaching similar challenges from different perspectives

We come from the same place: a belief that sustainability matters in agriculture, and that things need to change. Our paths may look different, but working together means we can learn from each other, build on what works, and make sure our collective voice is heard where decisions get made.

ZELDA

The ZELDA project aims to develop a new generation of entirely bio-based alternatives to chemical pesticides.

Lignocellulosic biomass such as birchwood, grape and tomato residues, and wheat straw will be turned into safe and sustainable formulations for crop protection.

OLinWASTE

OLinWASTE aims to establish a zero-emission biorefinery system

Advanced anaerobic digestion technology will transform olive mill waste into high-value products including bioimmunostimulants, biopesticides, biofertilizers, bioplastics, and bioenergy.

The collaborative and holistic approach in this project for developing sustainable, bio-based nematicides and fungicides is very exciting”
